These are non-contact measuring methods which include a wide range of sensors and measuring methods. For example, this includes the transmitted light or triangulation method.
This is the detection of defects on the measured parts. It is divided into classic contact and non-contact measuring methods. For example, this includes the optical inspection of a shape or text. A special subgroup is the detection of subsurface cracks in metal objects using eddy currents.
The most common applications of pneumatic measurement are measurements of dimensions and tightness. The pneumatic measurement measures the distance between the air nozzle and the measured surface.
